About the group

Vertical Sea is a group of project management and engineering firms having complementary skill sets founded upon and united by shared values and a common vision of what service should be in a world of change.

Players responsible for regional development, real estate, construction, infrastructure and industry face a threefold challenge in attempting to balance societal, environmental and economic concerns. Rising to those challenges involves those who provide services for those players, i.e. management and engineering trades, rethinking their models. They must work towards symbiosis between all the different skill-sets involved, with due respect for individual cultures, whilst simultaneously fostering mutually-enriching interaction and collaboration. This inevitably leads to greater understanding of the overall challenges as the enterprise becomes a crucible of innovation and performance, doing away with restraints and obstacles.

The group Vertical Sea has endeavoured, for the past 10 years and around this central premise, to build up a group bringing together a wide range of experts in real estate consulting, engineering in the fields of energy, the environment, construction – all trades and professions – geotechnics, hydrogeology, contaminated soils and sites, applied digital services and project management. Relationships within this community are founded on fluidity, empathy, presumed trust and a considerate, but not complacent, approach, qualities which are, in turn, projected out towards our clients and partners.

From that whole, Vertical Sea has been formed and all the men and women who work for the group draw more than enough strength from its engagement to generate a dynamic which gives them a strong sense of purpose and creates value for our clients in equal measure.

Sustainable Development

As a central player in real estate, construction and development in the regions, three sectors which have significant leverage at their disposal to ensure human activity grows in a sustainable manner, the Builders & Partners group has shown its commitment in domains associated with the preservation of the environment and of the earth’s resources.

Above and beyond the assignments carried out by the dedicated Energy and Environment Divisions, the Group proposes a holistic approach to environmental issues, an area in which its integrated model comes into its own. To the extent that ecology cannot move forward in the absence of a systemic analysis of all the economic, social and technical issues involved, progress can only be made in a climate of collaboration and pragmatism with stakeholders working together on the asset in question in harmony and a spirit of empathy.

Whatever their current role happens to involve, the teams at Builders & Partners express their multiple talents and offer a vision which is global, but accurate, realistic but ambitious, optimised in all respects but uncompromising in terms of the ultimate objective.

Imbibed with the cultures of sustainable development and digital technology, the group has joined Booster du Réemploi to contribute with great enthusiasm to the irreversible momentum leading the construction industry to question its practices, especially in relation to the use of resources. Everyone in the group will share their experience and creative ideas in the fields of engineering, energy, digital technology and whole life cycle analysis, not forgetting real estate leverage devices (uses, programmes, administrative, fiscal, etc.) in a systemic vision essential for the success of any transformation project.

Since 2019, the Builders & Partners Group has been a member of Circolab, an association which brings together professionals from the real estate and construction industries with the aim of promoting the circular economy (re-use of materials, recycling, traceability, etc.). The Builders & Partners Group was designated to steer the working group on BIM and the circular economy. To that end, the group is participating in the development of a framework, standard documents and working processes in line with the central sustainable development objectives.

CORPORATE PATRONAGE AND PARTNERSHIPS

It seems to us that a company must, from its inception, according to his means, perform actions of general interest, contributing to sustainable development.
The areas are numerous, such as the humanitarian emergency and development aid, social ties and employment support, the protection of the environment and biodiversity.

VERTICAL SEA SUPPORTS ARCHITECTS WITH A SOCIAL CONSCIENCE

We are delighted to lend our support to Architectes Solidaires and participate in the improvement of rest areas used by healthcare workers. Our teams will spare no effort, each according to their specific level and skillset (technical engineering, circular economy, environment, project management), to create pleasant spaces where those who put their all into looking after us and our health can relax.
We fully believe that successful companies can and should, according to their means, contribute to the Common Good and help make the social fabric they depend on more harmonious.
Our specialists will use their best endeavours to propose solutions which are naturally efficient, environmentally responsible and cause the least possible impact and pollution during the works.

BUILDERS & PARTNERS SUPPORTS THE BAROUDEURS DE L’ESPOIR ORGANISATION

This NGO was founded in 2014 to help victims of armed conflicts and other violent situations, to participate in the reconstruction of war-torn countries and provide humanitarian aid in emergencies and situations of desperate need.

Mostly, the organisation’s actions involve programmes providing initial emergency aid in terms of medicine, food and sanitation and programmes caring for children deprived of school, through education, instruction and health initiatives.

In 2018, the Vertical Sea group committed its support to the BAROUDEURS DE L’ESPOIR who provide aid for children living in refugee camps in the Middle East.
